He scored 700 goals in 973 matches so far. This historical goal in 2-1 loss to Ukraine was his 95th for Portugal.
Meanwhile, the win for Ukraine means they have qualified for the Euro 2020.
Through his goal in the match against Ukraine, he joins the elite group of players to have hit at least 700 goals in their career.
Yet, Ronaldo is some way behind the most prolific player of all the time, Joseph Bican. He scored 805 goals in his career.
Next on the list is Brazil legend Romario. He bagged 772 goals, while the third one on the list is Pele who scored 767 goals.
Real Madrid was the biggest beneficiary of his goals. He scored 450 times for the Spanish giants. 118 of his goals from 700 came during his early part of career at Manchester United from 2003 to 2009.
He is also the only player to score 95 goals for the country. Pauleta has the second most with 47 goals.
